Philly WWCC Postlude

After a full day of Star Trekking, Stan Leeing, and Bruce Campbelling I skipped the Geek Nation after party as I was just too wiped out. I drove back in a homewardish direction and stopped off at a local pizza/sports bar for a slice and a drink. The assortment of baseball, basketball, and for whatever reason softball games on the screens held no interest for me; however the Stan-Lee (see what I did there?) Cup finals were on one solitary screen. However, to see that screen I had to stare thru a table of a gaggle of college girls; the type that would normally frequent a sports bar on a saturday night. After several minutes of intense staring at the screen one girl whispered to another who quickly turned around looked at me and rolled her eyes.
Now I’m certainly no Chris Hemsworth (if you want to see him check out my full day coverage of Philly Con) but I’m not the worst thing to look at either.

Two things ladies:
A- I’m watching the hockey game not staring at your boobs; you’re gossipy high pitched woo’s are no match for brutal non-stop action and
B- I’ve literally just spent all day around girls dressed in leather and spandex, if really anything at all; representing some of the most well developed characters in popular literature; frankly you are boring by comparison.

That is all; stay nerdy my friends.
